Larissa
I’m Larissa. I graduated from NYU in 2015 and studied marketing with a hospitality industry focus. Currently, I work as an Account Manager at a Digital Marketing agency and want to transition my career to UX Design.
Some points that I learned from the iOS Human Interface Guidelines:
- “Thoughtfully prioritize configuration options within your app.”
- It was helpful to learn that the app’s main screen should be used for content that is essential or changes frequently. This helped me when planning the main screen of my app.
- “Educate or entertain people to mask loading time”
- I thought this was a unique point that many apps miss.
- “Show a hint in a text field to help communicate purpose.
- This too was a point that didn’t occur to me before which helped while I was making my wireframes.
My app is for budget conscious users ages 22 – 59 who are looking to organize their meal planning purchases and stay up to date on special deals and offers at their grocery store.
