HIG: Read, Learned, Conquered

I have been using a an iPhone since the first generation. It was interesting to read about topics that instinctually came natural to me when handling the iPhone but I really wasn’t aware of them. Understanding the tapping of a row versus tapping a button on the same view, opened my mind to how many things are layered in the interface. The terminology, such as share screen, modal view, segmented control gave me a new perspective on design possibilities for an app. I also learned about how fast a viewer can lose interest of an app on the tinniest extra step of an app.
