This week I have been playing around with an app called FileExplorer Pro. It’s an app that lets you more easily browse the files on your phone, and transfer them to your computer or to another person. It always takes me a little while to find where my downloads folder is once a PDF I’ve downloaded is no longer in my notifications, and this app makes it much easier to find it, as well as search for other documents. You can also sort files more easily than what is natively allowed on Android and in Google photos (or at least it is done in a more intuitive way). Transferring files between my Android and my mac is always a chore, because Android File Transfer only works sometimes, and disconnects frequently. FileExplorer Pro has a feature where it sets up an FTP so you can connect to from your computer and exchange files. Unfortunately, in all the times I tried, I was never able to successfully connect. The app is still useful for locally browsing files on my phone, but it would have been even better if it really eased transferring files between my laptop and my phone.
