Charlotte Bohning – Week 3

User insights that influenced my design iteration:

  • Change the “bucket” icon to a more intuitive/recognizable icon
  • Highlight the “Search” function & the ability to filter my location/type of food on the home feed.
  • Make it clearer what the user is first seeing on the home feed/give more context as to why the user is there and what they’re looking at
  • Make fonts smaller/try to build hierarchy with fonts and colors.
  • Make tabs smaller
  • Auto-populate restaurant post info using location
  • Clarify or get rid of the “comment” button
  • Make it clear that each restaurant has reviews from multiple people
  • Make the feed less overwhelming
  • Put your visual design into a digital prototyping tool for presentation next week
