Photo apps #saturdayapps
Hey, guys, here is a link to this new photography app that I mentioned skrwtapp.com. I like it because it has a single purpose — to fix the distorted lines that the phone’s wide-angle lens cause. I’m excited about the new features in iOS 8 that will let apps talk to each other — which I think will make the photo editing process so much less painful.

Just dowloaded the app. I think it’s going to be useful while taking pictures of buildings and things with vertical/horizontal lines. But what if there’s people in the picture? Will the faces get weird when you change the perspective?
I use VSCO Cam a lot for editing and then of course Instagram. Here’s my account @williamlothman

Yeah, this app is best for street photography and buildings. I guess It should be a close-up of a face so that you see any change when you change the perspective with the app. On the flip side, when you do take a close-up of a face, it usually gets distorted by the wide lens, so with the app you could fix it. Personally I don’t usually do close-ups and portraits with the phone. I guess this is because you need to get really close to the subject and this usually disturbs people.
