Hey guys, It’s Amber, also my App map & Wireframes about food.
Hi, guys! I’m Amber, from China. Currently study in SVA computer art as a first year graduate student. My background is animation, and now majoring in motion graphics and UI UX design(actually, my department just have 2 classes about UI/UX). Now I’m a visual interactive design intern in a small design agency. Really wanna learn more about UX design, and also wanna be a UX designer in the future. Plz check my work out and give me some feedbacks, really need you guys’s help ! : )

We were able to cover most of my thoughts in class, but I’ll recap and add a few additional things here.
The biggest thing is to differentiate the app even further from yelp. Just adding one mood layer on top of search, isn’t really enough.
On 0.0 Choose Mood, do you go on to the next view by just tapping on the mood? How do you get back to this page if you want to change your mood? Like we talked about in class, how can the app smartly learn about your habits over time and suggest things? It’d be great to see some content up front instead of just making a choice, and if it learned about your habits over time, it could base suggestions on that. Earlier on, it could just base it off of all user’s behavior.
I’m wondering if instead of showing restaurants by rating at all, that you should show some type of cumulative emotion data for each place. How can that help people find food and stay more in your theme?
Putting bookmarks under 4.0 seems a bit hidden. I’m also not sure what the ‘event’s are that you show in this section. You don’t reference those anywhere else.
Like we talked about in class, you shouldn’t try and figure out 3.0 friends. That’s too much for one app.
Keep true to the mood theme and figure out how to make that the most effective way for your users to find a restaurant.
