Week 1

It seems like I didn’t post week1 stuff successfully on the last week. I decide to re-post again to make sure it will be work.

3 Things I didn’t know about HIG: Although I used iPhone very often, I don’t know any name of the UI components. The article of ISO App Anatomy is so helpful that give me some basics ideas of how to start an App map and wireframes. I don’t know the three types of navigation. In addition to that, I was a graphic designer before so that I  am more concerns about the visual design part of UI and UX. After reading the HIG, I realized the design strategies and logical thinking behind the UI design.

I am a graduate student from NYU. I love design and creative thinking. I want to change my career from graphic design into UX design. Currently, I am exploring this brand new and fresh area.
