For our final version:

1. We unified the color of the tabs for different categories to avoid misunderstandings.
2. We added “vote later” and “create new one” buttons on the view after users finish sending out invitations.
3. We added a overview view before users send out their invitations. They could also leave a message for their friends.
4. We changed the texts shown on the “Plans” view to make it more attractive.
5. We added a calendar view in the “Plans” tab.
6. We added a detail view for each plan in the “Plans” tab.

For the addon, we decided to choose iMessage app so users can easily send trips to ask the other person if they are interested or not.

How else can you add more functions to the iMessage App

We were more focused on how might AI assist people with planning a trip and we created Travey, a trip agent. Travey will be a friend to assist users to create a trip that goes along with user’s preference.

In the experience, users will talk to Travey about their most memorable trip and from then Travey can generate out future trips that the users will possibly like to go.

When the users are traveling, Travey can guide and assist the travellers on what they eat, how to dress up, what’s the weather is like and at the same time users can update Travey about the trip what they like or dislike and also share images with Travey where other people in the trip can also access.

We tested the conversation with Travey where we act as him and talked through iMessage.

Our insights:

-The conversations should be more specific

-Why are forms to fill out separated from Travey’s chat

-The whole experience should be centered around the interaction with Travey

-People don’t know who put in those photos in the memories should have a symbol

-Should be able to input Budget with numbers

For our final project we decided to create a trip planner app aimed for a group of friends to plan their trips together. Every traveler has their own preferences when it comes to traveling so how might we create a trip that is suitable for everybody to go in one trip. Our idea is to make everybody in the trip be able to select what they want to do and later vote and the computer will generate a plan out for the trip.

How is it using AI

Hologo is for students, teachers, schools and lifelong learners. The app brings immersive experiences to the education system, for students to learn better and for teachers to better teach concepts visually like never before using Augmented Reality and Mixed Reality Technology.

I like how this app combines AR with the education context to make the experience more interesting and immersive. The interface was very easy to use and all contents are clearly displayed.

We designed an APP for the management of cryptocurrencies. In addition, we designed the add-on of the APP for iWatch to make the user experience easier and more convenient.

Main Features in iPhone:

• My cryptocurrencies list: Users can check the balance of their cryptocurrencies. Meanwhile, they also can see the trend of cryptocurrencies’ value and decide to sell/buy cryptocurrencies.
• AI transaction: If users open the AI transaction mode, the application will sell or buy cryptocurrencies for users to increase the profit or decrease the deficit. Users retain the right to cancel AI transactions.
• Send/ Request Money: Users can transfer/receive cryptocurrencies.
• My cards: Users can connect their bank card to the application for transactions.
• Transaction History: All transaction History of incoming and outgoing money and cryptocurrencies.

Main Features on iWatch:

• My Balance: Show the balance of different cryptocurrencies
• AI Transactions: Remind AI transaction and users can cancel the transaction on the iWatch
• Notifications: Incoming/ outgoing money notification

Memorado is a leading brain training platform with the mission to improve the mental well-being of everyone. It could improve our memory, concentration, reaction, logic and mathematical skills with 24 fun and challenging mind games over 720 levels. Users’ statistical progress would also be tracked during the process to record how they gradually get into a sharper mind.

There are three main features in Memorado including Games, Mentors and Audio. Users could select whatever they want to either train their mindfulness and memory or just kill the time.

From my perspective, I love the whole concept of the app to use really simple games or training sessions to improve people’s mental well-being. I also feel that it could be a really good choice for people to spend their fragmented time. As people could set up time by themselves for each session, users are given enough freedom to decide how to use the app based on their own preferences.

Insights from user testing:

1. The tone of the AI is too strange; it doesn’t sound like a human. There will be cool f the AI can give suggestion and advice like a close friend.
2. Showing different kinds of situations of using AI advice will be beneficial for idea presenting.
3. It’s better to have no more than 9 activities in the interest choosing part. Too many activities make users hard to focus on.
4. Gender preference should be considered about.

Insight from user testing:

1. The step for uploading profile part is too early, which is not a good user experience. Try to show users what can the app do first and then let them upload their profile.
2. Since there are lots of interest, the category of interest should be thought carefully.
3. The outline of the calendar is strange, make users fell confusing.
4. The interface is confusing. It makes users misunderstand how AI work.  Users thought that the AI will help them send the message instead, which is not what we plan to do.
5. Sexual choice is worth considering.
6. Many female users feel uncomfortable with the app because they thought that it felt like they are talking to a machine instead of a real male. Using AI to communicate with each other make them feel insincere.
7. How do we know who is actually speaking since everyone is using AI as a relationship coach?
8. Users want to see more pictures in the profile.
9. Do we need to consider about people from different ages?
