  1. We chatted about this in class, but really think about if the hamburger menu is the right choice. It hides functionality, so users don’t know what’s available in the app.

A proper app map would definitely help in addition to your scenarios. I’m not really sure of the full scope of the app’s functionality, and the map would show that more fully.

While the store-based info is super interesting, I’m not sure that getting the data necessary to drive that would be so easy. Those prices change all the time, and there’s no central way to get them. You can acknowledge that you need elves to help you do that, but worth considering.

It’d be helpful to take us through the whole story of what it is to start this app empty and how it smartly learns your shopping habit. Create a single persona and take us through their lifetime using the app. How do they get set up? How do they use the app once it is well set up? Thinking through this (and using some real examples instead of just ‘list item’) will help you think through additional challenges that come up as well.

On the receipt snap page, you’ll probably want to have a list of all captured receipts, which can be optionally deleted. Then on that page, you could have a + or other button to add a new receipt.
