Ecclesia

This is the app I mentioned last week.

Ecclesia is an audiovisual album app created by electronic music artist Forss in collaboration with untouch.fm and designer Leonhard Lass. The App lets you experience the full 40 minutes of Forss’ latest musical project in an immersive audiovisual environment.

 

I have mentioned this before Spring Break, but forgot to post here:)

Groopic a mobile app to take group pictures when you don’t want to ask strangers or take selfies. What you need to do is to switch photographers once, and Groopic will combine the two pictures to one. You do have to mark (tap on) each photographer on both picture, and both photographers will be in the picture. When I tested the app at home taking picture of objects on my desk, I noticed the outline of my first picture is subtly showed when taking the second one. It functions as a positioning guideline for me after switching objects on my desk. The result is incredibly natural and seamless. Check it out!

 

 

According to the feedback I got from last play test, I made some change on my apple watch app. Here is the digital prototype.

Instruction for my digital prototype: 1. Scrolling Down – tap the blank space on the bottom of page. 2. Force Tap – This function only exits in this page.(Should not, but for the test…) Press the blank space on the top of the page.

The change I made based on the feedback of the prototype test play:

1. I redesign the context menu. After researching, I believe the only thing we and change if the icon images and button labels. The color, position and also the typeface are template. We hardly change too much.

2. In the last version, my app mix the two systems, hierarchical system and the page based system. Therefore I redesign a few pages to make sure I am keeping using the page based system.

                       

3. In my app, I wish when there is some thing(a bar or a label) could provide a hint where he is/how many steps will finish this recipe. I used a left side bar for this purpose. However, during the test I found the bar was hardly to see and also could confuse people to think that is something else. Therefore, I change the design. I use the pie chart under the main page button for this function.

I think this will be my final version of Big Bite.

Comparing with the last version, I change the design for the Main Page and Search Page. And also, I make the favorite button more visible.

And fix the Back Button in some page.

                                               

 

 

pplkpr is an app that analyze, mange and optimize your social life. It was created by Lauren McCarthy and Kyle McDonald. Using a smartwatch, pplkpr monitors your physical and emotional response to the people around you, and optimizes your social life accordingly.

pplkpr was created to explore the implications of quantified living for relationships. Part provocation and in part a speculation, pplkpr is also a fully functional app that poses questions of data ownership between two people, and if algorithms could understand our relationships and make better interpersonal decisions than we can ourselves?

Pplkpr can create and open a text message, delete someone from your contacts, and poke people on Facebook. It started with over a year of research and experimentation, and eventually took the form of an iOS app ready for short term daily-life performances.

You may manually enter information into pplkpr at any moment, but it also produces two kinds of automated notifications requesting information: one for when you are coming and going, and one for when you feel something.

This app is developed based on a website called CAPPTIVATE.co. It shows a lots of UI design that may inspire you.
