  1. I’m unclear what the ‘index’ view is. Is that something that users see? It doesn’t seem like there’s any content on that view. You want to show content as soon as users open your app. Could you perhaps show other things that have been recently search, your recent searches, or things that are popular to search by other users?

When searching by keyword, are you going to autocomplete or suggest anything so that it’s easier to type these complicated words?

While I’m not a stickler for spelling (because I’m so bad at it myself). You’ll want to be careful to spell things correctly in your presentation. For example, it’s spelled “gluten” not “gluent”.

It’d be nice to see a little more detail about what you’ll see on 2.1 scan result. Do you see pictures of products? Descriptions?

When you scan, are you scanning the bar code of a whole product? If so, then you’ll get many results for many ingredients.

What does the QR code do? I agree that it may be odd to link to manufacturer’s websites, as someone said in class. I think that people who are interested in your app will be wary of manufacturers, even if they have solid information on their websites.

Is the forum something you create or something the company creates? I don’t think that you should worry about that feature for now.
