  1. In your app map, what do the boxes with “all the other four” mean? Since you’re using a tab bar, it’d be great to just have all your main tabs in a row like I showed in my app map example. I’m definitely getting a bit lost looking at your map, so it’d be worth refining it to make sure I can get a good overview of your app just by looking at the map.

We spoke about this a bit in class, but there’s not a super compelling reason for your users to use this versus just a hashtag in instagram. I can get other this and we can just explore interface, but if there are any special ways you can solve the specific problems of your users in your interface, it’d be nice to see.

For example, how can you build community with your particular users. You’re exploring some of this by allowing people to filter by people they’re following or by particular interests, but keep exploring what the most useful way it will be to display or allow users to filter content.

How do I add a favorite to a particular collection? Do I really need to categorize them if they’re just pictures? Are you imagining some way to transmit a little more detail, at least a link to a full recipe or some recipe details even?

You definitely don’t want to think through everything that’s necessary for a chat interface on top of everything else in this app, so cut that.

I’m confused about what the “places” part of the app is. How do I post a place? Am I just tagging a photo with a place? Think that through and make sure it’s not adding unnecessary complexity.

The posting will have a little more detail right? How do I at least add a comment or push the ‘post’ button?
