Stamp Stamp:

The thing that I have learned from the feedback:

•       There is no return button, people are not able to go back to the landing page.          – I revised the “Near” button and made it link to the “landing page”.

•       The redeem context is not clear and not obvious.

– I enlarged the text and also make it bold.

•       On the landing page, it will be better to see their stamps. (motivate people to collect the stamps)

– On the landing page, I added some restaurants which they collect the most stamps.

  1. Hi Irene, nice design, very clear.
    A few details you might want to check.

    1. Text size. You may want to check your design on your phone. “Register” on your first view is very hard to notice. The detailed information of the restaurant, like address, opening hours and distance, on both the list view and the detailed view, are very small for users to read.
    2. Table width. I also noticed that in your first view “Near”, the table cells under “restaurant”, “coffee”… are not in the same width. I think you can benefit a lot from starting to design UI elements in accurate sizes and positions. It would save you loads of time later on(trust me, don’t ask me how I know that…)
    3. Hotspot size. In “Me” view, you have a language setting. In fact, language can be changed through the iOS setting automatically. I think it is ok if you have it also in your setting, maybe it would cause some conflicts but I am not sure about that, but that place is too small to put language setting and location (setting?) together.
    4. Tab bar and view structure. There are a few views you didn’t change the color of the icons in the tab bar according to its current state.
    5. One thing you may want to push further is to encourage your users to use your app a lot and feel the sense of achievement. Sometimes, Starbuck app will also have the “stamp” promotion, it will have an encouraging text like”Only 1 more for 100 Bonus Stars”. You can even design it from the perspective of a game, how to make the process clear but also interesting.
