Lifeline is an immersive story of survival and perseverance, with many possible outcomes. Basically, this is a text-adventure based game that an astronaut named Taylor who is the only person survive a plane crash onto an undiscovered moon. As a player, your must guide him through this whole journey and your goal is to keep him alive as long as possible. In addition, the game is heavily based on your decision, and that your decisions could either save or kill Taylor in the game.

The moment when I started to talk to Taylor I felt like the character was real. The App plays out in “real time” which means that sometimes Taylor goes off to do something else and you don’t hear from him for a while. That really makes me feel that I am interacting with a real person. Personally, I don’t hate waiting because I don’t have much time to play the game. But for the game person and you do not have patient, this is not the game you are looking for.

However, text only communication can be also a really boring aspect. you only have two answers to choose from at a time, and sometimes I just don’t want to choose any of them. and the game has too many texts which I really hate reading too much, and especially Taylor talk fast then I can read which is also quite annoying. But overall, I think it is worth to play it!

Weather Pals | ISO & WatchOS | Final

These are our final iterations. From our last critique we had received feedback on the main IOS view. The time slider needs to have a reset button so the user can easily get back to the current time. Also we need to find a system to continue to reward the users, because over time we will run out of ideas to reward the users. Overall this was a great opportunity to hack away at our previous iterations.

Hanyu Zhao & Chuyi Sun | phone & AppleTV | Fuzzy | Final Visual

From last time feedback:

Phone:

• We changed our popular page to the top videos page and we also changed the icon for that.

• For our live video page, we added the “next live” function. If you finished this live video, after 3 seconds you will directly jump to the another live video.

• For our search page, we changed our advertisement in order to consistent the entire style.

• We put the ranking system on the “Top Video” page for simplifying videos searching.

AppleTV:

• We changed the “Review” to ” Top Video”.

• The same as the phone, on our live video page we added the “next live” function. If you finished this live video, we gave you more live videos for you to choose. If you don’t choose any live videos then after 8 seconds you will directly jump to the another live video.

• We also changed the “like” icon to ” view” icon, so people will see how many people already viewed this page.

Feedback & Iteration from Wireframe

  • It is not clear where the “saved list” is. Created a menu page at the beginning where the user can choose to go to the “saved list”, the “camera”, or “settings”.
  • Added a map view for the saved buildings to better provide the geographical context of each saved building.
  • Modified the listing of available unit types on the detail info page of a building. The list can be scrolled horizontally if it is longer than the screen size.

(Concept: Frame is an AR app that overlays rent information about any building on the street. We want to create a moment of serendipity for people casually looking for apt rentals while roaming around the neighborhood they like to live in. )

Feedback we got:

1, change the background to black because it saves battery

2, no need for the “get location” function

3, no need to show schedule for different month, maybe today and tomorrow is enough

4, add achievements into the experience
