  1. You’ve got 17 views on your app map, but less than that in wireframe screens. I’m sure you’re seeing that this is a big app, so look for ways to simplify and cut features. Do few things better rather than everything. Your app map is rather noodle-y, and indicates some issues with flow. It makes it clear that there is no central hub for the app. Things seems to be connected slightly at random.

On the home screen, having a search field at the bottom of a page won’t work because the keyboard will cover it as soon as you’ve touch the text field. Also, there is no reason (or room on the tiny phone!) to include your logo. Your user just touched your logo to open the app by tapping on the app icon. You have <> icons by star this week. What are we scrolling there? You’ve also got a hamburger menu icon here, that seems to have no purpose. Beyond just the #1 person, maybe you want to surface other trending or up and coming people’s recipes. How do you get people to get out and explore the content and to actually vote and participate.

How does the user get from 2.0 home to 3.1 my recipes? You’ll want to always use the back button in the upper left corner and pointing left. Having the four tabs at the top of the screen is very nonstandard. You’ll likely want to have a tab bar on the bottom that will be present in all pages and be the main navigation of your app. Along with that, you need to make it clear how you get from screen to screen.

How do you get to 5.0 explore? What am I exploring?

You’re going to need to spend some serious time organizing and simplifying.
